Lili Curia Debuts the Retro-Inspired June Sneaker
With a campaign starring Sydney Lima.
London-based footwear label Lili Curia only launched last year, and already, the brand has cultivated a growing community of fashion-forward women with a penchant for the past. Taking inspiration from the Victorian era, its previous collections have favored vintage-inspired silhouettes and detailing, resulting in lace-up boots, kitten heels and ruched loafers.
Now, the brand is entering a new sportswear era, launching a brand new sneaker silhouette that takes influence from retro sports and school days. Taking inspiration from vintage football shoes, the new June sneaker boasts enamel eyelets, dangling charms and Lili Curia’s signature poodle logo in pendant form.
Landing in three core colorways, the shoe is available in black and white crackled leather, plus a dusty blue nappa leather iteration. Celebrating the new release is a campaign lensed by Jebi Labemibika and starring Sydney Lima, exploring themes of playful sport, athletic influence and uniform.
