Masha Popova FW26 Explores The Psychology of the Bedroom

In a collection dubbed “Intimate Hours.”

Masha Popova hit a new stride at London Fashion Week with a fiercely confident and beautifully undone ode to the bedroom. Channeling the moody vampire vibes of Jim Jarmusch’s 2013 film Only Lovers Left Alive, the designer gave us a wardrobe built for twilight hours and secret obsessions. Let’s just say her return to the LFW circuit is well and truly welcome.

Popova showed fearlessness in how she handled textiles for her Fall/Winter 2026 collection, devoting less time to denim and more time to plush and varying materials. She took heavy-duty staples like flight and motorcycle jackets and distressed them until they draped like vintage nightgowns.

The contrast between ultra-feminine boudoir pieces and rugged outerwear was sharp but completely effortless. The same can be said about the leather pieces. Popova layered colors over hidden floral graphics that, according to the press release, will slowly fade and evolve the more you beat them up on the streets. She even debuted knits featuring massive 3D textures alongside see-through mesh tops that weighed practically nothing. Finally, Popova played with technical apparel but flipped the script by using organic plant-based fibers for everything down to the hardware. As for beauty, colorful wigs with bangs flipped up and vampire fangs cemented her Only Lovers Left Alive inspiration beyond any doubt.
