Ottolinger FW26 Is for the "Female Fools"

Rejecting the idea of perfection, the Berlin-based label presented a collection dedicated to girls who take up space.

Ottolinger Fall/Winter 2026 takes its cues from the exuberant spirit of artist Isa Genzken. Drawing inspiration from Genzken’s 2014 exhibition “The Only Female Fool,” designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient delivered a collection that thrives on rebellion. As such, this season is a tribute to the girl who occupies space without apology, including DJ VTSS who walked the show.

The Paris Fashion Week runway signaled a major material shift for the brand as Ottolinger integrated leather into its lineup for the first time. The outerwear-heavy collection balanced this new edge with signature high-volume faux fur and versatile scuba-fabric pieces designed for fluid movement. In a standout technical partnership with Swiss heritage brand Mammut, the label reimagined alpine gear for an urban context. Highlights included a vibrant orange puffer jacket cleverly constructed from a sleeping bag and adaptable leggings featuring removable legs to transition into shorts.

Footwear grounded the high-concept apparel. Models wore Nike sneakers that appeared intentionally weathered, symbolizing a life lived to the maximum through long nights and impulsive decisions. Adding to the footwear narrative, the brand teased the unreleased Nike Mirage, a hybrid silhouette that merges the DNA of a traditional football boot with the refined structure of an Oxford shoe.
