Rihanna and Fenty Beauty Unveil a Transfer-Proof Blush

The new Shake ‘N Play Buildable Liquid Blush promises to last up to 16 hours.

Fenty Beauty has just added a new blush to its cult-favorite lineup of makeup products. The Shake ‘N Play Buildable Liquid Blush is described by the brand as “hydrating and longwearing,” with up to 12 hours of transfer-proof wear. Unlike other blushes that can irritate sensitive skin, the new liquid blush is infused with skincare ingredients that feel comfortable on the skin all day.

“Life is busy! Sometimes you’ve got five minutes, sometimes you’ve got thirty seconds. I wanted a liquid blush that was actually easy to use – so I made Shake ‘N Play. All you have to do is shake, dot and blend for your best blush that lasts all day long,” the brand’s founder Rihanna says in a press release. The innovative blush is easy to build and quick to apply in a pinch — making it ideal for all of the busy beauty fans.

Thanks to cucumber extract, Shake ‘N Play hydrates your skin as you wear it. Depending on your desired look, it can add a light touch of color or a more bold pigment. To apply, simply shake the bottle, dot it on to your cheeks and diffuse with your fingers or a brush.

As for shades, the blush comes in five versatile hues: “Bow Peep” a pink color for light to medium skin tones, “Fiya Papaya” a coral for light to medium deep skin, Rihanna’s favorite shade “Wild’Berry Whip” a rose mauve for light to medium-deep tones, “Quit Wine’In” a plum wine for light-medium to deep tones and “Violet Vice$” a blackberry for light-medium to deep tones.

The Shake ‘N Play Buildable Liquid Blush retails for $28 USD and will be available for purchase on the brand’s website starting April 3.

In other news, Morphe expanded its Cheek Thrills blush collection.
