HODAKOVA FW26 Made Interiors Sexy
With teacup bras, rug skirts and armchair outfits.
Fashion is one way to reveal your identity; interior design is another. For this Fall/Winter 2026 season, HODAKOVA combined the two in a showcase that centered on the home, a place where we’re most ourselves.
Designer Ellen Hodakova Larsson is a country girl at heart, growing up on a farm, and this came through in her designs. A bra made of little teacups, rugs worn as skirts and dresses constructed from armchair parts, this was a collection that felt like it drew directly from fireside conversations in old cottages.
Various models strolled down the runway holding mirrors as props and wearing all-white in a nod to themes of introspection and the self. Hair was also a mainstay as we’ve seen cropping up in other collections this season, but not blonde human hair; it was, in fact, horsehair violin strings (perhaps a nod to her horsegirl persona). While the show began in a pared-back manner with tight silhouettes, things became a lot more expressive as the show progressed, with more skin, soft furnishings and faux fur. Hodakova brilliantly showcased the endless possibilities that lie within existing objects and her ability to bring the past into the future.
