Rationale just released a makeup collection with built-in sun protection.
Rationale, known for its skincare staples, has unveiled its “SPF Makeup Collection.” Formulated with UV-filter technology, the brand says the products emphasize sun protection as the foundation rather than an afterthought.
By fusing its ethos of high-performing skin products with luxury complexion products, Rationale is attempting to tap into the beauty world’s affinity for results over gimmicks. “This is not makeup with SPF, but SPF — perfected as makeup,” the brand says in a press release. While emphasizing the importance of skin health, Rationale hopes to seamlessly integrate UV protection into our everyday makeup routines.

The four-piece collection includes the Beautiful Bronze SPF30 to contour your face, the Beautiful Light SPF30 to highlight with, the Beautiful Lips SPF30 for a subtle wash of lip color and the Beautiful Cheeks SPF30 to add a rosy, flushed touch to your cheeks. Powered by skincare ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, the products nourish and protect your skin while subtly enhancing it.
