Nike Is Dropping "Heat Map" Air Force 1s This Summer
Giving black Forces a colorful upgrade.
Summer is around the corner, and Nike has some heat in the works this year. The Air Force 1 is getting a thermographic makeover just in time for warm weather escapades. Dropping a bold “Heat Map” colorway, everyone’s favorite sneaker is better than ever.
The base is similar to that of a standard, black Air Force 1. The heat map detailing starts around the Swoosh, with royal blue, red, green and yellow decorating the upper and midsole in an aura-like pattern. A contrasting, neon green shade creates a shadow effect around the Nike logo, with the colors dancing around each other beautifully.
Bright blue laces and a matching lining add extra pops of color to the black sneaker, with coral contrast stitching completing the intricate details. The outsole is see-through, with a mixture of all the colors visible through the dark, gummy material.
There is no release date set in stone yet, but the colorful upgrade on the streetwear staple is set to hit shelves this summer.
In other news, PUMA and Danielle Guizio’s new sneaker brings back an early 2000s climbing classic.
