Vans Is Dropping a Pearl-Embellished Sneaker Capsule

Vans is showing us its pearly whites, releasing a pearl and crystal-embellished capsule to help us step into spring in style. Dropping the Old Skool 36 and Slip-On styles with glimmering, new accents, the “Pearlized” collection is here, and it’s the perfect amount of grunge to take any outfit over the edge.
Bringing jewelry to your footwear, the Pearlized collection brings back the DIY culture of the early 2010s, with the mini details healing our inner child with every wear. The Old Skool 36 sneakers arrive in two colorways — “Navy” and “Vintage Cocoa.” The slightly washed hues provide a contrasting base to the small pearls that dot the perimeter of the shoe. Decorating the toe box, tongue, heel and Vans logo, the Old Skool 36 offers a more subtle route to the pearly look.
The Slip-On, on the other hand, goes all the way. Pearls and flat crystals cover the entire upper in a bold diamond pattern, shining against the dark canvas. Available in a classic camouflage style, as well as indigo and black, the Slip-On is the perfect shoe to stand out at the skatepark or on the street.
The Vans Pearlized collection will be available to purchase starting March 21 on the Vans website and select retailers.
