Cecilie Bahnsen and The North Face Return With a Softer Edge
Blending romance with real-world performance.
Everyone’s favorite gorpcore-meets-fem-core collaboration is back. The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen teamed up for a third time on a collection that blends fashion with function. First unveiled at the designer’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, the campaign has now dropped along with an official release date.
This partnership is all about instinctive dressing, featuring technical garments that are softened with shifting shapes and layers that transform the pieces into new expressions of practicality. Across the collection, Bahnsen’s famed romantic aesthetic meets logical utility in unexpected ways.
You’ll find a floral-printed ripstop jacket with zip-off sleeves, which becomes a vest alongside matching trousers that convert to shorts. Printed flower motifs appear throughout the wider collection, while new takes on wind protection feature through a pullover cinched at the waist and a long hybrid coat. Accessories support the collection for the perfect technical addition to an outfit, including a standout flower-shaped carabiner. Another highlight is the single footwear offering, the “shandal,” a hybrid sandal and shoe finished with Bahnsen’s signature floral appliqué.
This is not one of those collections that simply mimics function; it actually is functional. Marking a subtle shift from previous chapters, the brands now provide something a little less alpine and a little more ephemeral.
The drop will be available from March 27 via The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen websites.
