Cou Cou and Adwoa Aboah Celebrate Being Messy
Dropping a collaboration for Mental Health Awareness Month.
Model, activist and all-around It-girl Adwoa Aboah is joining forces with intimates label Cou Cou for Mental Health Awareness Month. The duo is launching a limited-edition T-shirt designed to spark raw conversations about the complexities of the human experience. Realized in partnership with Dover Street Market London, the project serves as a fundraiser for Gurls Talk, the non-profit founded by Aboah to support the well-being of young women and girls.
The collaboration features a minimalist tee emblazoned with the phrase “Out of Order.” This slogan acts as a direct challenge to the pressure of having it all together, encouraging wearers to embrace life’s messier chapters. The project reflects a deeper dialogue between Aboah and Cou Cou founder Rose Colcord, two British women advocating for women’s health. While Gurls Talk continues to build community through honest conversations around mental wellbeing, Cou Cou brings its focus on non-toxic, organic essentials.
Shot by Zora Sicher in Los Angeles, the campaign captures intimate portraits of Aboah. Alongside the launch, the model will host a series of conversations exploring mental health and the idea of feeling “out of order,” creating space for women to show up feeling messy, vulnerable and unapologetic.
The Adwoa Aboah x Cou Cou “Out of Order” tee will be available from April 30 at Cou Cou and Dover Street Market London. An in-person event will also be hosted on May 16 at Rose Bakery, with all profits going to Gurls Talk.
