District Vision and New Balance Unveil Their 1080v15 Sneaker
With a campaign starring champion runner Parker Valby.
Los Angeles-based running brand District Vision and New Balance have released their latest collaboration, bringing a monochromatic, earth-toned 1080v15 into the world for the new season. Marking the newest link up between the frequent collaborators, the duo are giving the recently-launched running silhouette a makeover, and this sleeper hit might finally wake everyone up.
Launching in January, the 1080v15 has been one of New Balance’s more underrated releases. Reimagined in minimal, easy-to-style colors, District Vision is changing the sneaker’s status. Available in a rich brown shade as well as a simple beige, the earthy colorways cover the entire sneaker for a classic, monochrome look. Straying away from the typical neons and bright colors of running silhouettes, marathons and sprints have never looked this good.
A suede and mesh upper roots the sneaker in streetwear, making it less of a running shoe and more of an everyday style. On the heel, “District Vision” is printed in a contrasting color, with both brand names decorating the soft, suede tongue.
A campaign starring elite runner and NCAA champion Parker Valby makes sure the shoe stays true to its athletic roots, making running chic with understated apparel and eyewear.
The New Balance x District Vision collaboration is available to purchase now on the District Vision website, with a wider New Balance website release arriving on April 10.
In other news, adidas and Song for the Mute dropped a running collaboration, too.
