DUKE + DEXTER Loves New York

The love letter to NYC includes four new shoe silhouettes and graphic tees galore.

London-based footwear label DUKE + DEXTER just dropped a fun, new capsule for the spring, and this one is all about the Big Apple. Bringing Big Smoke vibes to New York City, the LDN II NYC collection is a wonderful melting pot of DUKE + DEXTER’s signature style mixed with the hallmarks of NYC. If you didn’t love New York before, you definitely will now.

Of course, footwear is at the heart of the collection. Known for hand-painted penny loafers and creative takes on the traditional shoe, the classic DUKE + DEXTER loafer is reimagined with a “NY” graphic printed on the toe box. The graphic is used heavily throughout the collection and campaign, appearing on moc toe silhouettes, Mary Janes and mules, as well as baseball caps and sweatshirts.

A different loafer silhouette pays homage to the city’s sporting culture, with an ivory, leather shoe decorated with red stitching to make it look like a baseball, as well as a brown, basketball-inspired style.

New York-inspired graphics were designed with a pencil and marker pens, giving them a raw feel as they cover sweatpants, tees and the insoles of shoes. To complete the love letter to NYC, an “I Love NY” T-shirt brings the collection to a close, replacing the iconic heart with a lipstick kiss stain.

The LDN II NYC collection is available to purchase now on the DUKE + DEXTER website.

In other news, Vans Japan and BILLY’s turned the Slip-On into a loafer.
