Rachel Sennott Wrote and Starred in Marc Jacobs' New Film
Full of comedic charm and chaos, alongside an all-new bag.
All over our screens lately (and rightfully so) is the ultra-talented actress, comedian and screenwriter Rachel Sennott. So, it’s no surprise that Marc Jacobs has now tapped her for its latest creative chapter, launching The Scene, a micro-drama written by and starring Sennott.
The campaign marks the first installment of a new storytelling platform titled “Question Marc,” a social-first series designed to unfold through short narratives blending film, fashion and entertainment. This represents a shift in how the brand engages with culture, moving away from traditional campaigns and towards ongoing storytelling.
Set in Manhattan, New York, The Scene follows Sennott through a chaotic day full of comedic charm as she tries to secure an invitation to a gala. Alongside Sennott is the new Scene Bag, which appears throughout the story. You’ll also see cameo appearances from Francesca Scorsese, Morgan Maher, True Whitaker and Sandra Bernhard.
This is a bag designed to be noticed. Offered in three sizes and colorways, it comprises signature hardware, a sculptural silhouette and the classic J Marc logo. The collection also introduces new colorways of The Tote Bag and The Snapshot, so don’t sleep on this one.
