Joshua Samuels Drops Its Debut Homeware Collection
Pivoting to lifestyle with a chaotic lineup of designs.
What started in his mum’s shed has now grown into a fully fledged fashion label dressing stars including Little Simz and Sekou. Joshua Samuels is the man behind the London-based sustainable brand, turning skate culture and the style of his inner circle into a masterclass in upcycled streetwear.
Now, the label is officially moving off the body and into your living room with its debut homeware collection, “Broken Homeware.” Known for an irreverent approach to upcycling, Samuels is ditching the overly polished vibe of typical sustainable brands in favor of something much more blunt. This isn’t just about furniture; it’s a full-blown subversion of domestic life that treats material reuse with a middle-finger attitude.
The drop features a 1-of-1 vintage Persian rug reworked with reclaimed knitwear and the brand’s signature “Bones” motif, a literal nod to the “death” of forgotten items. Things get even more chaotic with a series of vintage dinner plates. Each unique piece is overlaid with crude, hand-applied slogans like “I’M LEAVING YOU” and “BEIGE DINNER AGAIN,” finished with a cheeky disclaimer that the tableware has been “completely f-cking ruined by Joshua Samuels.”
Rounding out the chaos are duvet covers made from deadstock bedding. These aren’t your average linens; they feature vintage appliqués from Dickies and tongue-in-cheek slogans like “MY GIRLFRIEND FAKES IT.” This is the perfect collection for anyone who wants their home to feel as rebellious as their wardrobe.
The collection drops May 14 via the Joshua Samuels website.
