The North Face Wants You to ‘Do Your Worst’ With the Base Camp Duffel
Releasing a new campaign centered around the bag’s legendary durability.
The North Face’s Base Camp Duffel is one of those iconic pieces that looks just as good as it performs. Since launching in 1986, its signature durability has stood the test of time, serving mountaineers, campers, and even casual travellers on their adventures.
As the bag marks its 40th anniversary this year, the brand reveals a new campaign, called Do Your Worst. Composed of slow-motion videos and dynamic stills, the visuals place the Base Camp Duffel’s weather-resistant materials and hardwearing components against the harsh elements as trekkers are captured hauling it across expeditions in the snowy peaks and vast rainforests. Through pushing their limits, the bag comes out as a trusty sidekick that can withstand the pressures of the wild environments.
Alongside the launch of the campaign also comes several seasonal iterations of the holdall. Adding to its staple “Summit Gold” and “TNF Red” editions, The North Face drops new spring-ready colorways including “Stone Slab” and “Metal Pink.” Ensuring the bag fits every spontaneous trip, a broader size range that maintains all the adjustable and removable features will also be available to shop this season.
