Jyoty Shows Us How She Styles the Nuptse in Seasonal Essentials
Proving the signature jacket can go from outdoor adventures to underground dancefloors.
Every month, Hypebae’s Seasonal Essentials series taps fashion and culture tastemakers to share the pieces they rely on through the changing seasons. For the latest edition, in collaboration with The North Face, Amsterdam-born, London-based DJ Jyoty takes us through three ways she styles the signature Nuptse, from winter festivals to the studio and exclusive nights out.
With a calendar that moves between DJ booths, recording studios and cities around the world, Jyoty knows the importance of a wardrobe that can keep up. Her style is rooted in the same balance: practical enough for life on the go, but never at the expense of a good fit. Enter the Nuptse, The North Face’s signature puffer that has travelled from the world’s highest peaks to the center of contemporary street culture.
For her first look, Jyoty styles the Nuptse for a winter festival, layering the jacket with statement pieces that bring a little personality to cold-weather dressing. “I like when practical things also look cute,” she explains, adding a knitted hood and standout socks to the look.

Next, the Nuptse gets a more elevated treatment for an exclusive party, proving that performance outerwear can easily move beyond the everyday. Finally, Jyoty brings the jacket into her natural habitat: the city. Styled for a day spent moving from home to the Homegrown FM studio, the look reflects her on-the-go lifestyle, warm, functional and camera-ready. The reversible design also means she can switch things up depending on the occasion.
From outdoor adventures to underground dancefloors, the Nuptse continues to show the way, bridging The North Face’s performance heritage with the demands of modern city life.
