Betsey Johnson Says "That's Hot," Teaming up With Paris Hilton
The duo released a collection full of Y2K glitz and glam.
Two symbols of unapologetic glamor are joining forces. Betsey Johnson teamed up with Paris Hilton for Betsey Johnson by Paris Hilton, a new collection celebrating the duo’s shared love of maximalist fashion, playful femininity and dressing like you actually want to have fun.
The collaboration feels like a full-circle moment for Hilton, who has long been a fan of Johnson’s famously eccentric designs. Inspired by the designer’s decades-spanning archives and iconic runway moments, Hilton brings her own signature Y2K sensibility to a selection of reimagined silhouettes.
Think vintage-inspired shapes, romance, irreverent details and plenty of attitude, all designed around the idea that getting dressed should never be too serious. The campaign reflects that same energy, pairing Johnson’s whimsical aesthetic with Hilton’s unmistakable take on glam.
“I’ve loved Betsey forever,” Hilton says, recalling attending the designer’s runway shows and wearing her pieces. “She’s always been one of my favorite designers and such an inspiration, so creating Betsey Johnson by Paris Hilton is truly a full-circle, dream-come-true moment. We had the best time bringing our worlds together and creating this collection.”
And because no Paris Hilton collaboration would be complete without some serious It-girl energy, the collection is all about embracing confidence and going all out.
Launching today, the collection will be available via the Betsey Johnson website and select retail partners. On top of all that, $1 from every purchase will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
