Lacoste Serves Up Tenniscore With the New Slam Break Sneaker
A Grand Slam-worthy drop.
The tenniscore aesthetic is getting a major upgrade ahead of the US Open, and Lacoste is serving up the perfect Grand Slam footwear. Building on the buzz of the Arthur Fils–fronted Slam Break Premium, the heritage brand is back with the a new silhouette: the Slam Break.
The sneaker seamlessly blends retro court codes with modern street style, arriving in two chic iterations catered to every occasion: a refined leather version that is sleek and timeless, pairing fresh whites and creams with vibrant grass-green accents on the sole, as well as a tactile textile option featuring a relaxed ripstop mesh upper accented with suede overlays, metal eyelets and rich chocolate brown hues for a modern twist.
Lacoste didn’t sacrifice comfort for style, either. Built with archived 2000s tech — specifically their pioneering Absorption De Shock midsole foam — alongside a TPU heel counter and a snug stretch knit lining, these kicks promise all-day support.
The Lacoste Slam Break is available to purchase now on the Lacoste website and select global retailers.
In other news, Noir Kei Ninomiya dropped a rose-covered PUMA Speedcat collaboration.
