These Were The Hottest Brands and Buys of Q2, According to Lyst

Chanel retains its top spot while elsewhere the New York Knicks make an appearance.

It’s that time again; we’ve hit the end of Q2, and with that comes the Lyst Index, giving us all the numbers for what’s hot and what’s not based on all our spending. Featuring the trendiest brands, the it-products and the ones to watch, read on for the full download.

This quarter, Chanel retained its spot as the hottest brand thanks to Matthieu Blazy’s cult following and aided by It-girl Dua Lipa choosing the brand to design her wedding dress. The label’s Shield Sunglasses also featured on the hottest product list, seeing a 363% demand increase since last quarter. You’ll be seeing an iteration of these at all the festivals this summer.

After experiencing a slight lag, Miu Miu climbed back up two spots, helped in part by its New Balance collaboration with Coco Gauff and an increased demand for the brand’s sunnies. Perhaps more surprisingly, Massimo Dutti climbed the most places this quarter, rising eight positions after an increase in demand fuelled by Bella Hadid endorsing the brand during the Cannes Film Festival. A fashion girl favorite, Phoebe Philo, entered the Index for the first time, proving that while the price tag might be out of reach for most, it doesn’t stop us from dreaming.

This season has been a summer of sport with the World Cup and Knicks’ win fueling much of the football-inspired fashion we’ve seen as of late. The Index’s hottest product proves it, with the New York Knicks cap claiming the number one position with demand soaring around their history-making title win. For more sporty pieces, the adidas x Willy Chavarria Jersey also entered the top 10.

The fashion girlies’ footwear obsession is also going strong, with four of the top 10 items being in the shoe space and two of them unsurprisingly being jelly shoes. Both SKIMS and Chloé’s jelly sandals hit the index, and it makes total sense.

Read on for the full list of hottest products, and head to the Lyst website for the full report.
