Kate Moss Goes Into the Woods With Hunter
Celebrating 170 years of the iconic brand.
Hunter is celebrating 170 years of outdoor style, and it’s calling on a longtime friend of the brand to mark the milestone. The heritage British footwear label has reunited with supermodel Kate Moss for its Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, aptly titled “Iconic by Nature.”
The connection between Moss and Hunter dates back over two decades, rooted in the model’s effortless festival style that has fueled Tumblr blogs and Pinterest boards for years. “I’ve been a loyal fan of Hunter for years, ever since the festival where I wore them with way-too-short shorts and a waistcoat.” Moss recalled in a press release. Facing knee-high mud on her way out the door, she grabbed her black waterproof wellies to do the job, inadvertently cementing the Original Tall Wellington Boot into the pop culture lexicon.
The AW26 collection honors the brand’s heritage while introducing modern, technical innovation beyond traditional rubber boots. Across Europe, the lineup is anchored by the 170th Anniversary Original Tall Wellington Boot in the brand’s earliest green colorway, finished with bespoke gold hardware and a heritage badge reading “Since 1856.” The European range also introduces tech-forward silhouettes like the Downpour Tall Boot, Elements Neoprene Chelsea Boot and the Elements Lemhi Sonic Welded PU Puffer Jacket.
Meanwhile, the U.S. and Canadian releases elevate classic textures with the Original Tall Wellington Boot in Black Croc, the Giania Suede Tall Boot in “Chocolate Brown” and the Maribel Puffy Snow Bootie. The footwear is joined by updated sportswear and outerwear pieces, including the Bex Signature Hunting Jacket featuring a PU collar.
The Hunter AW26 170th anniversary collection is available to purchase now on the Hunter website and select retailers.
