Marine Serre Is Taking Its Moon Motif Into Your Living Room

Teaming up with Chaisor on three limited-edition chairs featuring the All-Over Moon print.

Marine Serre is taking its iconic Moon motif somewhere unexpected: onto a 1960s French folding chair. The designer teamed up with furniture label Chaisor on three limited-edition versions of its signature chair, bringing fashion’s favorite crescent print into the world of interiors.

Made in France since 1962, the Chaisor chair is known for its distinctive silhouette and exceptional durability, with each piece guaranteed for 30 years. For the collaboration, the design is reimagined in Tan, Inverse Tan and Denim, each individually numbered and finished with Marine Serre’s all-over Moon motif.

The collaboration brings together two brands united by an interest in heritage, craftsmanship and longevity. Originally designed by Chaisor founder Léo Jouk, the chair combines the practicality of folding furniture with the structure of a permanent piece, and continues to be handmade in France today.

Rather than simply stamping its logo onto a furniture classic, Marine Serre treats the chair as an object designed to become part of everyday life, something to use, keep and eventually attach memories to. That idea will continue through a series of launch conversations, with selected creatives sharing stories about objects that hold personal meaning. This is one for your dream home.

The Marine Serre x Chaisor chairs will be available exclusively via Marine Serre’s website from September.

In other news, we caught up with Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale on everything from fame to what defines a rock star.
