Take a Look Inside Chanel's Sleek New Walton Street Boutique in London
Three floors of luxury.
Earlier this month, Chanel unveiled its newly-restored three-storey boutique on Walton Street, London. Now, we can finally take a look inside the sleek Knightsbridge store which is home to Ready-To-Wear, handbags, footwear, eyewear and jewelry.
Designed by acclaimed NYC-based architect Peter Marino, the light-filled boutique combines Chanel’s heritage with contemporary finishes. It’s inspired in part by Coco Chanel’s iconic apartment on 31 rue Cambon, Paris and as such, also pays homage to its legendary founder by continuing her commitment to the arts by displaying pieces by artists and sculptors throughout the space, including work by Erik Lindman, Jean Michel Othoniel and Nancy Lorenz amongst others. On the ground floor, you’ll find the latest RTW collections as well as the stunning shoe salon, the first floor boasts two accessories salons as well as watches and fine jewelry and the second floor is home to even more Ready-To-Wear offerings, shown in three interconnecting salons that have been designed as an open wardrobe space.
Take a look through the elegant new boutique in the gallery above and be sure to stop by if you’re in London. In related news, don’t forget to check out Chanel Beauty’s Holiday 2018 collection.
