PUMA Announces a New Golden Suede in Celebration of the Design's 50th Anniversary
Originally released in 1968.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the PUMA Suede, the brand announces the release of a Golden Suede. The beloved sneakers originally started out as track shoes and later were heralded as basketball sneakers. The luxe detailing includes a bright, gold leather upper paired with a crisp white midsole. The iteration also features golden laces and a “1968” stamp near the heel, which points to the year the design launched.
Pick up the kicks over at PUMA on March 3, where they price out at $100 USD. Artist CJ Hendry collaborated with the brand to create her own take on the kicks in celebration of the anniversary. Check out the exclusive images of her artwork below.
