KARA Teams up with Artist John Yuyi for a Funky Editorial

Where art and bags meet.

New York-established label KARA has teamed up with artist John Yuyi for its latest editorial, showcasing the must-have bags of the season in a fun and eye-catching way. Juxtaposing the minimal aesthetic of the classic KARA leather bags with Yuyi’s recognizable fun and quirky art, the lookbook is both whimsical and unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Featuring the brand’s “Brick Bags” in colors ranging from black and white to bright red, as well as a brand-new fanny pack model called “The Strap On,” both styles are perfect for everyday wear. We’ve previously seen a selection of minimal renditions by KARA, such as backpacks and totes, all crafted from premium leather and completed with metal hardware. Sleek and convenient, the bags are timeless classics that won’t go out of style anytime soon.

Shot and produced by Taiwanese artist John Yuyi, who is most known for her Gucci “meme” campaign, you can see the full editorial over at KARA’s Instagram as well as online. Pricing of the bags starts at $275 USD, and are available to shop at KARA as well as at selected retailers such as HBX.
