Saint Laurent Introduces Its Own Chunky Shoe: The Jump Sneaker

It’s no secret that the chunky sneaker continues to dominate footwear trends throughout fashion brands around the globe. From the Stella McCartney Eclypse to the Gucci Rhydon, the leaning towards a bulky silhouette certainly does not escape the luxury brands. Jumping onto the trend, Saint Laurent now contributes its own spin on the aesthetic for Spring/Summer 2018, introducing its new Jump sneaker.
Constructed out of premium leather, the triple white release features a thick sole designed with a spiky tread along the bottom of the outsole. For branding, silver Saint Laurent text appears along the side panel, neatly positioned along a diagonal. To complement the logo, the eyelets are also rendered with silver hardware. Rounding off the look is perforated detailing on the toe box, a thick collar along the entry point, as well as a cushioned tongue.
