Nike Is Releasing Caps and T-Shirts Inspired by Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97
Corduroy love.
With the official release of Nike‘s Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97, sneakerheads everywhere have been trying to get their hands on a pair of the covetable sneaker. To coincide with the Air Max Day 2018 launch, Swoosh has even unveiled several apparel items inspired by the beloved shoe.
The forthcoming lineup includes a Heritage 86 QS adjustable cap as well as a printed logo T-shirt. Staying true to Wotherspoon’s recognizable design, the hat is constructed with corduroy panels in the sneaker’s color palette — ranging from a dusty pink a pastel yellow, to “Light Blue Fury” and “Vintage Green.” Each panel is embroidered with a mini Swoosh in white, while the back strap sees the words “VA –> LA.” Another item from the special release is a white tee, which features Nike’s iconic branding in numerous colors along the hemline.
