Here's When & Where You Can Cop Sean Wotherspoon's Air Max 1/97

After winning 2017’s Vote Forward Event beating out competitors such as Venus X‘s RevolutionAIR, Sean Wotherspoon‘s Air Max 1/97 will now be stocked for general release. The Air Max 97 and Air Max 1 hybrid was sold in small quantities last November, but now fans all of the world will be able to get their hands on a pair.
The sneaker is inspired by Wotherspoon’s love of thrift stores and mixes the uppers of the two ’90s runners. Using corduroy threads of yellow, gray, blue and green are weaved onto its form creating a multicolored waving pattern. A white midsole sits atop a rainbow outsole completing the one-of-a-kind shoe.
The highly-anticipated sneaker is set to release overseas on March 24, and in the U.S. on March 26. Take a look at the official store list below to find the nearest local shop. Also be sure to peep the Memphis Shop’s editorial that features the new silhouette.
