SSENSE Just Launched Its New Flagship Store in Montréal
The space will reportedly be five-storeys.
In February last year, ELLE Canada revealed that beloved luxury e-tailer SSENSE would be opening a new five-storey flagship in Montréal. Now, it is reported that SSENSE will be launching its much anticipated flagship later this month. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects – which is led by the esteemed architect, known for his austere creations that celebrate a powerful sense of form deeply rooted in both history and culture – the store is undoubtedly slated to be not just a retail space, but a stunning structure of art and inspiration.
First launched in 2003, SSENSE has since become a globally recognized e-commerce destination that carries some of today’s most sought-after brands. Amongst its roster are labels such as Vetements, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Balenciaga, Gucci and Alyx, to name a few. The store opens to the public on May 3.
