Balenciaga has set the bar high with its glamorous flagship store in Miami’s Design District. Designed as a two-storey, the building’s striking facade features functional solar panels and huge pale-blue storefront windows. The front of the building contains large-scale gleaming Balenciaga lettering that will make shoppers take notice when walking along the street.
The luxurious interior and furnishings are designed by the brand’s creative director Demna Gvasalia, with the stark interior features mirroring those of the Rue Saint-Honore and Avenue Montaigne flagship stores in Paris. The first floor has an airy, exposed ceiling and accommodates the women’s collection, whilst the second floor features a pink Balenciaga logo carpet and caters to menswear.
