Nike's Epic React Flyknit Is Now Customizable With NIKEiD
Peep streetwear label Patta’s own iteration.
Earlier this year, Nike dropped its sporty Epic React Flyknit silhouette, and now the brand has made it possible to customize your own version of the trainer using NIKEiD. The Swoosh also tapped five run clubs from around the world to come up with their own one-of-a-kind design, resulting in five drastically different and eye-catching sneakers.
Tokyo’s Athletics Far East run crew’s design is based on the Tokyo subway map; Koreatown Run Club in Los Angeles’ sneaker is designed with a palette inspired by the Korean flag; Seoul Private Road Running Club’s shoe sports the corinthian helmet logo and gold accents to symbolize their marathon achievements; and the Shanghai crew used nature-inspired hues finished off with the Chinese symbol for “Fly.” Last but not least, streetwear label Patta teamed up with London Track Mafia for a triple-black iteration of the sporty silhouette, channelling the “fearless nature of city culture.”
The Nike Epic React Flyknit will be fully customizable with NIKEiD starting May 3, and each of the silhouettes above will be available on nike.com starting May 10.
