Take a Look at adidas Originals' Innovative New Silhouette – the P.O.D System

The past meets the future.

Following on from the release of the Yung 1, adidas Originals has blessed us with yet another new sneaker – the futuristically-titled P.O.D System. Described by the brand as a “silhouette built for purpose,” the technical shoe is inspired by some of adidas’ previous sneakers, but updated with contemporary design details and technology.

This runner is ideal for sports and lifestyle alike – it encompasses the “Point of Deflection” system that debuted in the ’90s to ensure that it’s performance-ready. This iteration sees a lightweight, black upper that’s complemented by tonal details throughout the laces and the Three Stripe branding on the lateral side. A hit of bright lime green on the shank and vibrant blue-toned accents that sweep across the side and heel bring a fun touch to the monochromatic kicks and the look is rounded out with a BOOST heel in white which is sliced with a dark midsole to the front of the shoe.

Get a closer look at the new adidas Originals P.O.D S3.1 above – you can shop the shoes now at adidas.com for $130 USD. For more from adidas, check out the Campus in “Chalk Orange.
