Your First Full Look at Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2018 Collection

Summer has just started, but we’re already getting ready for all the intriguing Fall/Winter 2018 collections that are set to drop within the coming months. Louis Vuitton debuted its FW range on the Paris runway back in March, and now we’re taking a closer look at the garments we saw at the show.

Designed by Nicholas Ghesquiere, the womenswear collection features pieces inspired by the classic French woman, as well as sportswear and futuristic design, creating a unique and eye-catching aesthetic that follows through the full collection. From embroidered blazers, to carefully crafted evening dresses, the apparel showcases Louis Vuitton’s impeccable craftsmanship and Ghesquiere’s unbeatable eye for detail. Following a color palette of earthy tones with pops of yellow, blue and red, the range is perfect for mixing and matching for all occasions. Of course, the collection also included a wide range of accessories. Paying homage to the brand’s history, the iconic LV monogram print was a recurring motif throughout the pieces. From new iterations of iconic classics like the Alma bag, to fresh silhouettes like the “New Wave” bag, you’ll want to splurge on these once they hit shelves. To finish off the collection, a selection of bling and accessories was also showcased, from chic bolo ties to thick chain chokers – the pieces complemented the range perfectly.

In addition to the womenswear, Louis Vuitton also showcased its menswear pieces designed by Kim Jones. Marking his last collection, the designer used archival elements and motifs throughout, assuring that his last pieces for the iconic house would be timeless and memorable. Taking on a sportswear aesthetic, several pieces feature a print of a photography taken by Jones himself from a helicopter in Kenya. Following earthy tones, the pieces also include pops of color in orange and neon yellow, as well as futuristic titanium-inspired outerwear and accessory pieces. Of course, Jones’ last collection also included the PVC coated monogram boots and jackets worn by Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell on the Paris runway.

Take a look at the upcoming pieces from the Fall/Winter 2018 collections, and stay tuned as the range will arrive at Louis Vuitton stores within the upcoming months.
