Take a First Look at Sacai x Nike's New Sneaker Collaboration
Doubling up on the Swoosh.
Sacai‘s Spring/Summer 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week Men’s saw Chitose Abe‘s signature deconstruction in asymmetry and colorblocking carry over to a new collaboration with Nike.
Worn under blanket wraps and technical outerwear were two silhouettes that Footwear News denoted the “Waffle Daybreak with the LDV” and “Blazer with the Dunk.” Chitose also noted that, “Sacai has always been about hybridization,” and that showed in the new models with double tongues, laces and Swoosh branding.
Each new model saw two colorways. Take a look above and in other Nike collaboration news, check out Takashi Murakami’s custom Nike Air Force 1.
