More Images of KAWS x Dior Homme's SS19 Collaboration Have Surfaced
Including a suited, pink BFF plush toy.
UPDATE: On Friday evening, Kim Jones took to Instagram again to share images of Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and other Dior House friends posing with the BFF plush toys. According to the designer, the miniature Dior suits are from Baby Dior’s SS19 collection. Check out the star-studded photo set over here.
All eyes are on Dior Homme as the brand’s new artistic director Kim Jones and jewelry designer Yoon Ahn are set to unveil their debut collection for the fashion house this Saturday, June 23. In anticipation of the Spring/Summer 2019 Men’s runway show, Jones has taken to Instagram earlier this week to tease a collaboration with artist KAWS. While both parties hadn’t shared much about the partnership except for a reimagined Dior bee symbol, on Friday (June 22) KAWS shared on Instagram that he has been working closely with Jones on his first-ever Dior collection, captioned with the hashtag #diorxkaws.
Over on Yoon’s account, not only did the designer preview her Christian Dior logo rings and necklaces with Kid Cudi as the model, she also posted a new image featuring a set of pins shaped after the KAWS-designed bee motif. Additionally, close friend of Jones Victoria Beckham has shared an image of herself holding a pink BFF plush toy. Donning a sleek, black suit with a CD pin placed on the lapel, the adorable doll may or may not be a part of the upcoming collaboration — we’ll have to find out.
Dior Homme’s SS19 runway presentation will be taking place at Paris Fashion Week Men’s at 5:30 p.m. local time on June 23. Be sure to check back for our recap of the show.
