Saint Laurent brought its Parisian-chic aesthetic to New York for its Spring 2019 menswear show and as always, debuted edgy, tailored pieces true to the label. Following a limited color palette, the collection included sleek, black pieces with intricate detailing in gold, silver, glitter, white and more, creating a luxury feel to the show as a whole.
The label showcased everything from embroidered blazers, to leather trousers and fringe jackets, drawing inspiration from the famous rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic. In true Saint Laurent fashion, the collection also featured chic accessories, with thin belts, hats and jewelry being the focal pieces. Despite showing as a menswear show, the brand proved that there are no restrictions when it comes to fashion. The show saw models like Kaia Gerber and Binx Walton sporting looks from the line, proving that Saint Laurent’s unisex aesthetic works for everyone.
