Cardi B Surpasses 1 Billion Global Streams on Apple Music

Cardi B has had a year filled with career-defining moments including giving birth to her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus. Now the Bronx rapper has crossed one billion worldwide streams on Apple Music. She joins the ranks of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, but notably, has reached a billion at the fastest pace.
Back in April, Billboard shared that Cardi B’s debut album Invasion of Privacy “set a new Apple Music record for the most streamed album by a female artist in a single week.” The album was streamed over 100 million times worldwide.
The 2018 MTV VMAs nominations showed Cardi leading the pack with 10 nominations across different categories, including “Artist Of The Year” and “Best New Artist.”
