'Stranger Things' Hints at Season 3 Premise With Vintage-Style Trailer
Featuring a new location, the “Starcourt Mall.”
Netflix‘s wildly popular scripted series Stranger Things unveils another trailer ahead of its season three premiere. The entire video offers a glimpse into a new location titled the “Starcourt Mall,” sharing that the mall officially opened in 1985.
Since the entire trailer is dedicated to the “Starcourt Mall” it’s highly possible that the location will play a significant role in the next season. Shoppers and families appear in the visual in addition to Steve (Joe Keery) and Robin (Maya Hawke) who both work at the Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream shop. Hawke was previously confirmed as a new cast member back in March. Her character was described as an “alternative girl” who stumbles across dark secrets in Hawkins.
Check out the trailer above – the release date is teased as “summer next year.” If you’ve been searching for binge-worthy shows, take a look at the top shows we’ll be watching this summer including Queer Eye, Easy and more.
