Rihanna Is Everything We Dreamed of on the Cover of British 'Vogue's September Issue
Styled by editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful.
Rihanna was just unveiled as the cover star of British Vogue‘s forthcoming September issue. Both editor-in-chief Edward Enninful and the Bajan singer shared the head-turning cover image in addition to the fashion spread shot by Nick Knight. The main portrait features Rih wearing a tulle Prada dress, gloves and of course a lace selection by her Savage X Fenty line.
The accompanying shots which include grey backgrounds showcase the global superstar styled by Enninful in high fashion pieces by Noir Kei Ninomiya at Dover Street Market and Alexander McQueen. Each stunning look is topped by a crown of pastel flowers. In the realm of beauty, makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench nailed it with ultra-thin eyebrows and glowing skin with emphasis placed on her eyes. Additionally, the eggplant-esque lip color used in the shoot is equally striking as it provides an eccentric contrast.
In his editor’s letter, Enninful shares that alongside Rihanna’s spread he interviewed her on the topics of “diva-dom and diversity.” The issue will be on newsstands on August 3.
