Fulfill Your Wildest '90s Dreams at This New Spice Girls Exhibition
The only place where we “Wannabe.”
Yes, you read that right. If you remember standing in front of the mirror lip-syncing to all the songs from the biggest girl group in the ’90s, you’ll be as excited as we are about London’s new Spice Girls exhibition. The space is titled SpiceUp London, and is all about Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham‘s alter egos Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh Spice. Featuring some highlights like the original Spice World movie bus, to the iconic outfits – there’s nothing that has been overlooked when it comes to memorabilia.
Created by Ian Smith-Allison, who has spent over £100,000 GBP (approximately $130,000 USD) collecting over 7,000 pieces of Spice Girls items, the exhibition stretches over two floors. Highlights include the Spice Girls’ Viva Forever dolls, which the collector spent £700 GBP (approximately $907 USD) on alone, as well as the Buffalo London sneakers that the group made so famous back in the ’90s. The SpiceUp London exhibition will run until August 20, and is priced at £10 GBP (approximately $13 USD) for general admission, or £20 GBP (approximately $26 USD) for a guided tour if you’re a real aficionado. Get your tickets at the door or online, and get ready to fulfill your ’90s dreams.
