K-Pop Girl Group Red Velvet Just Debuted a New Summer Mini Album
And “Power Up” music video.
From a record-breaking second album and a U.S. debut in Chicago last April, K-pop girl group Red Velvet returns with a new Summer Magic EP and retro-inspired “Power Up” music video. The group comprising, Irene, Joy, Seulgi, Wendy and Yeri, are the best charting K-pop artists right now.
The seven-track album debuts an all-English track, “Bad Boy,” produced by Grammy Award-winning producing-duo, The Stereotypes. Its original Korean release soared to No. 2 on Billboard K-Pop 100 Chart with over 127 million views on YouTube. Member Wendy said:
“We gave our U.S. fans a glimpse of ‘Bad Boy’ in English and the reaction was crazy! We loved it, but seeing how much our fans connected with it made us even more excited to bring them the full version. ‘Bad Boy’ is one of our biggest fan favorites so the opportunity to record it an all English version was really special.”
