UPDATE: Celine Unveils Teaser Portraits for Hedi Slimane's Debut Collection

UPDATE: Celine has officially unveiled two black and white portraits boasting Hedi Slimane’s new direction. In one image, a model dons a crystallized accessory while in another the model is wearing a luxe neckpiece. Both shots were originally posted on the fashion house’s Instagram account.
Hedi Slimane recently shook the fashion industry with his subtle but powerful rebranding of Celine, as well as wiping out the brand’s current Instagram. Now, the French photographer-slash-designer has slowly started to reinstate said social media feed, beginning with a clever roll-out of the new Spring/Summer 2019 campaign.
Displayed artfully on the side of trucks which appear to be sent down New York City‘s streets, the campaign imagery so far features images of a metallic gold curtain alongside the back profile of a model sporting a tinsel-style coat. Of course, the pictures are places alongside the new Celine logo, sans that all-important accent. Take a look at the chic trucks in the Instagram images below and let us know if you’ve spotted any in your neighbourhood yet.
