Meet Big Hit Entertainment's New Boy Band, TXT

Each member’s name has been revealed.

Recently, BTS‘ label Big Hit Entertainment revealed Yeonjun, the first member of its newest boy band TXT. Now, the group’s first official image has debuted featuring all five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyn and Hueningkai. This is the first boy band the Korean company has rolled out since BTS in six years.

TXT which is short for TOMORROW x TOGETHER features five groupmates who make up a bright and youthful boyband. Each individual is distinctly different from one another. According to a press release, each member is “shining in their own way to create synergy.” Notably, Yeonjun was recently announced as the oldest at 18. Billboard reports that Soobin, the leader is also 18 and Hueningkai is 16 years old. The other ages have not been made public yet.

With the drop of each introduction video titled, “What Do You Do,” Big Hit is painting a colorful narrative of each member. Each video points to the different backgrounds of each member. Currently, the group has already surpassed 40 million YouTube views, there’s no doubt that the buzz surrounding TXT will continue to grow ahead of their first music release.
