







KAWS Is Set to Debut Largest Outdoor Sculpture Ever in Taipei — Take an Early Look

AllRightsReserved has confirmed that KAWS‘ latest sculpture will be debuted in Taipei. This will be the largest outdoor sculpture ever produced by the artist. Locals will be able to see the 36-meter-long Companion piece at Taipei’s Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall from January 19 to 27.
To commemorate the occasion a line of limited-edition collectible items will also be released. The haul includes exclusive vinyl Companions, T-shirts, ceramic plates and tote bags. The tees are stamped with a new KAWS graphic that adds the xiao long bao soup dumpling into the text. Those traveling to the area this month should definitely add the sculpture to their itinerary.
Prices for the collectibles ranges from $50 to $199 USD. Shoppers will be able to pick up their favorite pieces at the installations pop-up store on January 19 (6 p.m local time).
