Watch Troye Sivan's Romantic Music Video for "Lucky Strike"
Set on a perfect beach day.
Troye Sivan begins 2019 with a bang by unveiling the visual for his track, “Lucky Strike.” This marks the first time he has dropped a standalone video from his latest project, Bloom. Emma Westenberg, known for directing Janelle Monae‘s stunning video for “Pynk,” also directs this beach-focused clip.
The summer-centric video follows Sivan around a sunny, perfect beach as he sings about a crush he has on a bartender. Throughout the colorful clip, Troye is seen with and without the bartender, during some moments, they’re seen cuddled up and enjoying the sights on the beach. A literal bloody heart also makes an appearance in the video, alluding to his growing feelings.
Prior to the release of Bloom, Troye starred in the critically acclaimed film, Boy Erased. The movie also features Lucas Hedge, Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. After the debut of the project, he led a North American tour.
