Converse's Pro Leather Gets Dressed in Punk Graphics in Collaboration with PLEASURES
Slated to drop this week.
Following its last sneaker collaboration with Reebok on the Aztrek, LA-based streetwear brand PLEASURES has teamed up with Converse on the latest Pro Leather. Known for its punk, metal and grunge designs, the classic silhouette features a minimal black and white colorway covered in graphics that are protected by an outer transparent layer.
The shoe’s base layer consists of Tyvek material where the illustrations arrive in a crinkled aesthetic designed to wear down over time. PLEASURES’ co-founder said in a press release:
“It’s a classic shoe and few have really tapped it creatively, so we’re excited to add the PLEASURES design aesthetic to the DNA of Converse, giving our fans their own version of the silhouette, while attracting some new ones along the way.”
The PLEASURES x Converse Pro Leather will be available at Converse’s website and global retail partners on November 21. In case you missed it, be sure to check out the Disney x KITH x Converse collection.
