Billie Eilish & Alicia Keys Duet "Ocean Eyes"
The only thing you need to watch today.
Earlier this week, Alicia Keys took over the The Late Late Show With James Corden, and brought out guests like Ali Wong as well as Billie Eilish. Taking over James Corden‘s usual duties as the host of the show, Keys swapped the usual desk for a piano which she used to duet “Ocean Eyes” with Eilish herself.
“I mean, I didn’t bring this thing here for nothing,” said Keys, referring to the piano, and Eilish sat across from her on the sofa whilst they performed the single. “I just love everything that you represent. I was so glad that I could take this beautiful gift that you’ve given us, these songs that you’ve given us, this permission you’ve given us to be ourselves and just have a moment,” said Keys, praising Billie Eilish for her success and immense talent, to which the 17-year-old singer responded with a video of her own cover of “Fallin’” from when she was only 12 years old.
Alicia Keys will be hosting the prestigious 2020 GRAMMY Awards on January 26, airing live from Staples Center in Los Angeles at 5 p.m. PST. The awards show also sees Eilish nominated in the “Big Four,” which includes Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
