Bottega Veneta Applies Signature Intrecciato to Puffer Outerwear for Pre-Fall 2020
As well as new must-have sandals and bags.
Bottega Veneta has unveiled its Pre-Fall 2020 collection, full of must-have separates, accessories and shoes. The new range designed by Daniel Lee, who recently won a whopping four awards at the 2019 British Fashion Awards, infuses luxe suiting, evening-ready dresses and technical outerwear with a sporty streetwear sensibility.
The house’s signature woven intrecciato technique is applied to a blue calf-length puffer coat, a standout piece in the collection, as well as heeled sandals in bright red, electric blue and neutral beige colorways. A series of drawstring-style dresses and tops feature ruching down the front, while fringe hangs from deconstructed knitwear. Oversized chains add edge to leather handbags, and bubblegum pink makes an unexpected appearance in the form of a leather trench coat.
