London's First Sanrio Café Serves Hello Kitty Donuts, Ramen and Matcha

London‘s first-ever Sanrio Café has arrived at Tombo Fitzrovia, a restaurant already known for its Japanese food. The whimsical pop-up serves a surprisingly expansive menu of Hello Kitty and friends-themed snacks, entrées, desserts and drinks.
Besides Hello Kitty, Sanrio characters including Pom Pom Purin, Bad Badtz Maru and Kero Kero Keroppi all make an appearance with menu items including the Badtz-Maru Ramen garnished with the character’s face, Pom Pom Purin Curry shaped like a puppy and Keroppi’s Pond, a matcha tiramisu with Keroppi-shaped chocolate. A donut decorated with Hello Kitty’s bow, matcha tea served in a Hello Kitty Mug and a Hello Kitty-shaped poké bowl all pay homage to the beloved cartoon.
