The Blue Sole on adidas Originals' Sleek Sneaker Is a Breath of Fresh Air
Don’t worry, there’s a monochrome style too.
Earlier this month, adidas Originals unveiled its new-season Sleek sneakers in an array of fresh new hues. Now, the brand is adding a crisp blue and white iteration to the lineup that’s just perfect for spring.
The streamlined trainer has a timeless white leather upper with slight perforated details and subtle panel, matched by white laces. To contrast, there is a black tab on the tongue and metallic gold adidas branding on the side, as well as a suede hit at the top of the heel which adds another chic element to the shoe. The standout detail however is the semi-transluscent icy blue midsole which elevates the sneaker with an added twist for the coming summer months.
If you prefer your shoes in monochrome tones, the Hypersleek shoe will also be available with a black leather upper and its signature, angular stacked platform midsole in a creamy off-white shade. Peep both options in the gallery above; they’ll be landing at select Three Stripe accounts soon.
