This Girl on Kicks Editorial Re-Introduces FILA's Vintage DSTR97 Design
The silhouette is back from the ’90s.
Girl on Kicks founder Sanne Poeze is serving up yet another editorial, this time showcasing FILA‘s DSTR97 re-design. The silhouette originally launched in the ’90s and is directly inspired by drag racing. The shots follow a racing theme and showcase ideal ways to rock the DSTR97.
The footwear model features a sleek look with its upper constructed in patent leather and mesh. It sits atop a thick sole for wear and traction. Additional accents include a unique lacing system and FILA branding along the upper. Notably, the imagery features two different colorways of FILA’s DSTR97. One comes in white with navy and red accents, while another is outfitted with white contrasted by navy and yellow hits of color. In the editorial, a branded FILA fanny pack is styled with a Carhartt shirt and oversized trousers which creates a sporty look ideal for every day.
